Summary from Orion

In his first ever DEADLY DIARIES Steve Backshall shares what it means to him to film the world's top predators. Learn how it feels to have a blue whale silently power past you in crystal clear Indian Ocean waters or to dangle beneath a helicopter in order to be dropped onto a crocodile nest while the mother crocodile is still there!

Nayuleska's thoughts

As a child, one of my favourite books was this huge survival manual, which taught me how to survive in any condition. Steve's book reminds me of that, because Steve is often in dangerous situations. I loved hearing about his successes, I held my breath numerous times when things were looking iffy, and smiled with relief when he reached safety. Animals are truly amazing creatures, and Steve's passion for them comes through in the diary which is both informative and entertaining in this 10/10 read.
