From looking at the front cover you
wouldn't know that both Mouse and Dragon are girls! It's great to have a female
knight, one who is pretty hilarious when it comes to rescuing a prince, trying
to beat a cat and making Dragon pretend to be dead. I love the illustrations
which give a sense that sometimes the page is made of fabric, the silhouette
illustrations had lots of humour within them. I laughed a lot reading all the
stories which are atypical for knights and dragons, with nice and short
sentences that are easy for new readers to read. The stories are short enough
that one could be read before bed (That's if the reader stops at one!) I hope
there will be more Sir Mouse and Dragon tales!
