Read

Sorry Dad! By Maxine Lee
Children's, Picture book
10E/10E
(The child is having a day I'm sure all readers will relate to...)

The Kids Book of Mazes, Buster Books
Children's, 5 years +
Activity book, Non-Fiction
10E/10E
(Plenty of mazes in 4 different abilities!)

Stardust Stables: Sunset in the West by Sable Hamilton
Children’s, 11 years +
10E/10E
(Dealing with a lost horse is no joke when a job depends on Hayley finding Cool Kid!)

Tent City Princess by Lynn Anns
Young Adult
10E/10E
(Being homeless can mean living in a tent, as Kennedy finds out...)

Listened

Marshmallow Magic and Rose Rouge by Karen McCombie
Audiobook, Children’s, 9 years +
10E/10E
(When life gets hard, all you need is some marshmallow magic, which doesn’t involve marshmallow ^o^!)

Watched

Casualty
Drama, English version
4/10E
(The show isn't that great at the moment...)

Holby City
Drama, English version
10E/10E
(Gets a high rating because JAC IS BACK!!!! Poor Elliott is ill, but yay, Jac!)

A Little Princess
Anime, French version
10E/10E
(Sara is a strong character, never getting angry, always being gentle & kind no matter what her status is [rich or poor]...)

My Little Pony
Anime, English version
10E/10E
(Rainbow Dash gets nervous before an event, but the girls rally round to cheer her on, since Fluttershy's cheer is quiet...until the end of the show when she shouts her heart out!)

Littlest Pet Shop
Anime, English version
10E/10E
(Finally I understand why one of the characters in the android game is a cat with a cake on her head - it must be because of the new sweet shop in the anime, since that cat has sprinkles on her head.)

Craft etc
Been working on a crochet blanket for a new arrival

Was a spur of the moment decision to try it. I now know the pattern almost inside out so no longer need the pattern, which was for small triangle bunting which I adapted. So happy as I've yearned to make shawls ever since I learnt to crochet, as knitted ones are too complex for me to beable to follow. Anything needing a pattern is a no go for me now. The turquoise is brighter than the pic.

Also started a blanket for a younger family member...

Did a tiny bit of cross stitch (Been far too long) and did a few mazes and criss cross puzzles! All fun here!
