I'm
grinning as I write this review because I absolutely know a lot of
readers won't be happy with the end. It's an impressive read which
bypassed my expectations and turned into something quite different
which I enjoyed. There were a few points where I didn't agree with
what London did, hence the imperfect grade, but overall it was
incredibly enjoyable, as she's spontaneous and a bit mental in a good way. I sped through this book and was a bit
disappointed when it ended as London's need to understand the bizarre
goings as well as how she reacts to the knowledge she's going to die.
I enjoyed the way London flung herself into life and did what she wanted to do, some which are crazy and others made me smile. London's friend is equally amusing. This review has me a bit teary eyed as I write it because since reading the book I've
got a friend who has cancer. It is hopefully treatable, but it does
make me view this book in a different light, and wishing there's an
Adam in my friend's life.
