Nayus thoughts on the series
This is a series of jam-packed fact books, presented in a fun, dinosaur theme which made it an engaging read. I wasn't over-loaded with information either, I could dip in and out as I wished. The illustrations added to the humour, which makes readers more like to remember the information. Each book has an introduction about the topic area that's covered, which has lots of questions asked and answered in the main part of the book. It will suit many readers who are always asking Why? and How? about the world they live in.

Summary from Dino Books for:
DID YOU KNOW THAT...Humans have sent jellyfish into space, or that there is a planet made of ice that's on fire? DO YOU WANT TO KNOW ...Why space smells like raspberries? AMAZE YOUR FRIENDS ...With planets made from diamonds, stars that could destroy our solar system and how long humans could survive in space!

Nayu's thoughts on How Do Astronauts Wee in Space?
I'll let the book answer the title! Considering we've just had our first English astronaut go to space this is a highly relevant book.

DID YOU KNOW THAT...The Russians believe in the Leshi, a dangerous creature who tickles its victims to death, or that St George was actually a Roman solider? DO YOU WANT TO KNOW ...Which mythical creature sneaks into Japanese bathrooms to lick them clean? AMAZE YOUR FRIENDS ...With stories of mischievous gods, unbelievable beasts and the gullible people who believed in them!

Nayu's thoughts on How Many Greeks Fit Inside A Trojan Horse?
As many as you like! Joking ^o^ It's a novel way of learning about myths from around the world, filled with facts and humour to fuel enquiring minds. Having a BA in Ancient History made me more than a little curious to learn about areas I researched during my degree. It's wonderful to have them presented in an exciting way with pictures and humour to get the facts across. Definitely didn't have anything like it in the university library!

DID YOU KNOW THAT...The stegosaurus had a brain the size of a walnut, or that there used to be scorpions that grew to over two metres in length? DO YOU WANT TO KNOW...Which prehistoric animals dinosaurs used to be afraid of? AMAZE YOUR FRIENDS ...By telling them about feathered dinosaurs, giant millipedes and flying giraffes!

Nayu's thoughts on Do Dinosaurs Make Good Pets?
Filled with heaps of dino facts, much needed if someone wants them as a pet (not possible, sadly). My cat will be very pleased to hear the answer regarding seeing dinosaurs in pet stores - it won't happen any time soon!
